Among Us Crewmate Stuffed Pattern

Free Pattern:
Us 5.5 mm or 5.00 mm crochet hook
Size 4 medium worsted weight yarn

 Legs:

Make a magic circle or chain 4 and slip stitch into the first chain. 

Row 1: Place 11 single crochets into the circle.

Row 2-6: Place a single crochet into every stitch. For one of the legs fasten off. For the second one do not.

Body:

Row 1(7): With the leg that is not fastened off, single crochet into the next 3 stitches. Then bring the other leg and single crochet into it. Single crochet into all the 11 stitches of the second leg. Put your hook into the two stitches on each leg that are in the center of both and slip stitch (so there's no opening between the legs). Continue to slip stitch all the way around the other leg. 

Row 2-16(22): Place a single crochet all the way around in each stitch to work up the body. (after this is where id recommend stuffing most of the body with either polyfill or yarn scraps)

Row 17(23): Decrease all stitches by combining two stitches into one.

Row 18(24): Place a single crochet into every stitch.

Row 19(25): Repeat row 17 and decrease all stitches. Fasten off, finish stuffing the body, and sew the top shut.

Backpack:

Chain 8

Row 1: Place 3 single crochets into the second stitch from the hook. Place a single crochet into the next 5 stitches. Place another 3 stitches into the 8th space. (first original chain). Then continue on to the other side of the chain (you place a single crochet into both sides of the chain) and single crochet into the next 5 spaces. 

Row 2-11: Place a single crochet into every stitch all the way around working in a round. After the final round, fasten off, stuff it, and sew it shut.

Face:

Chain 7

Row 1: ( light blue) Place 2 single crochet into the second chain from the hook. Single crochet into the next 4 stitches. Place 2 single crochets into the 6th space (first original chain). Working on the other side of the chain (similar to the backpack) work another 4 single crochet stitches. 

Row 2: Place two single crochets in any stitch that was an increase. This counts for the rest of the face pattern. (light blue) the next 8 single crochets. (switch to dark blue) single crochet all the way around

Row 3: (still increasing in all previous increase stitches) (black) single crochet all the way around using black. 

Chain 4 in white to attach the glare.

Assembly:

For the face attach the glair on the opposite side of the dark blue. Sew on backward then what you worked it. 

For the backpack make sure when you sew it not exactly on what you would consider the edges, you want it to pop out and look like a square backpack so make sure to go in a few stitches when sewing it on the back of the crewmate. If anything doesn't make sense let me know but use the picture as a reference. 

I had so much fun making this and once again TikTok influenced my crochet life. But I made this pattern with the most simple possible stitches in my opinion. I just looked at the wonderfully little among us characters and I haven't seen many people do the face right and I'm really proud of how this turned out. I want to make an entire collection of all the colors that are in the game for myself, the few that are pictured were quick Christmas gifts. Anyway, I don't like to make stuffed things because of common circle shapes but these little guys are shaped like a fridge and were super simple. I hope to see your among us characters!!
